Abstract

Included in this series are six scrapbooks of clippings documenting Northwestern University athletics for the years 1926-1927, 1927-1928, 1928-1929, 1929-1930, 1930-1931, and 1932-1933. The clippings mainly relate to University achievements in major intercollegiate sports including football, basketball, swimming, track, and baseball. Other sports are reflected as well but with less frequency and detail.

Abstract The Athletic Media Services office, part of Northwestern University's Athletics and Recreation Department, is responsible for preparing publicity and informational materials about Northwestern University's inter-collegiate sports teams. The Records of the Department of Athletic Media Services span the years 1871 to 2002, with the bulk of the materials dating from the 1950s through the 1990s.
